RLM PORTAL – WEBSITE TERMS OF SERVICE & CONDITIONS

USAGE OF THIS SITE INDICATES YOUR UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS OF USE ( the "TERMS OF USE"). WE RESERVE THE RIGHT, IN OUR SOLE DISCRETION, TO UPDATE OR REVISE THESE TERMS OF USE AT ANYTIME. THE CONTINUED USE OF THE SITE FOLLOWING THE POSTING OF ANY CHANGES TO THE TERMS OF USE CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THOSE CHANGES. EVEN IF ANY PREJUDICE OR DAMAGE ARISES WITH RESPECT TO A USER DUE TO THE AMENDMENT, OUR COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE THEREFOR.


Article 1 (Use of Site)
Users (“Customers”) of the Site provided by Ruelamode Portal (RLM) may use the Site only in accordance with and subject to these Terms of Use and the Site's Privacy Policy (the "Privacy Policy"). Customers may not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these Terms of Use, or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity that infringes the rights of Ruelamode Portal Website (the “Site”). Customers shall not use the Site for the following: a) enter false or erroneous information in placing an order for the products; b) any act that prevents or may prevent the operation of the Services; c) illegally use a credit card; d) dispose of the products by using the trade name of the store of RLM; e) impersonate a third person; f) any act that causes or may cause any other Customer or third person, loss or damage; g) any act that is or may be against public order or morals; h) any act that is or may be against applicable laws and regulations; or i) any other act determined as inappropriate by RLM.


Article 2 (Status of users and Prohibited Acts)
1) Upon using the site or the Services, each Customer shall be deemed to have accepted these terms and Conditions and at the same time, such
Customer shall acquire the status of a User of the site. 2) In using the Services, Customers shall not commit any of the following acts: a) enter false or
erroneous information in placing an order for the products; b) any act that prevents or may prevent the operation of the Services; c) illegally use a
credit card; d) dispose of the products by using the trade name of the store of RLM; e) impersonate a third person; f) any act that causes or may cause
any other Customer or third person, loss or damage; g) any act that is or may be against public order or morals; h) any act that is or may be against applicable laws and regulations; or in) any other act determined as inappropriate by RLM.


Article 3 (Breach of Terms and Conditions by the Customer)
1) If any of the following items applies to a Customer and RLM suffers damages therefrom, then RLM may take the necessary action such as making a claim for compensation for damages against such Customers. a) in case the information entered by such Customer upon placing an order for the products is incorrect; b) in case such Customer is a minor under guardianship or assistance and it was found that such Customer misrepresented that he/she has obtained consent from the statutory agent, guardian or assistant or, in case such Customer is an adult ward and it was disguised as if the order for the products was placed by the guardian thereof; c) in case of breach of these Terms and Conditions; or; d) in case RLM determines that such Customer is inappropriate. 2) Even in the cases provided in the preceding paragraph, RLM may continue to hold the information of such Customer.


Article 4 (Purchase Order for the Products)
a) A Customer who desires to purchase products on the site shall accept the other terms, etc., set forth in these Terms and Conditions or indicated on the site, and shall place an order for the products (“Order”) at the order page of the site by entering therein and sending the name, email address, phone number and other required information of such Customer (“User’s Information”) as well as the necessary details including the contents of the order (“Order Information”) in accordance with the method designated by RLM. b) In case a Customer is a minor under guardianship or assistance, such Customer shall place an Order after obtaining consent from the statutory agent, guardian or assistant thereof in advance. In case a Customer is an adult ward, the guardian thereof shall place the Order. c) An order shall become effective when the User’s Information and Order Information reaches RLM; provided, however, such User’s Information and Order Information must be legible to RLM. d) If any unclear/incomplete/incorrect User’s Information or Order Information that is written/typed in a language unreadable/unknown by RLM reaches RLM, the relevant Order shall not become effective and RLM shall not be responsible to the relevant Customer for any loss or damage caused thereby. e) if any User’s Information or Order Information does not reach RLM due to system failure, etc., then the relevant Order shall not become effective and RLM shall not be responsible for any damage caused thereby to the relevant Customer. f) Upon receiving the User’s Information and Order Information, RLM shall send the Customer an email confirming RLM’s receipt thereof as well as the contents, etc., of the Order (“Order Confirmation Email”). An Order shall be completed when an Order Confirmation Email has been sent; provided, however, an Order Confirmation Email shall not represent any acceptance by RLM of an Order from the Customer. g) Once an Order has been completed, and RLM has received payment, RLM shall send the Customer an email (Order Shipped Email) confirming the Order has been processed, payment has been received and details on shipping/courier information will be included. h) Once an Order has been completed, the Customer may not alter or revoke such Order. i) In case of an Order not from Singapore (“Overseas”), the User’s Information and Order Information must be completed in English regardless of the country of the place of the Order.


Article 5 (Formation of Purchase Contract)
A Purchase Contract between a Customer and RLM shall become effective once an Order Shipped Email has been sent out by RLM. If a Customer for any reason does not receive an Order Shipped Email from RLM, the relevant purchase contract shall be deemed void without RLM giving any notice, and RLM shall not be responsible therefor.


Article 6 (Proprietary Rights)

 Customer will acknowledge and agree that the content, materials and other components (including but not limited to logos, graphics, button icons and page headers) available on the Site are the property of RLM and are protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks or other proprietary rights and laws. Customer will agree not to sell, license, rent, modify, distributed, copy, reproduce, transmit, publicly display, publicly perform, publish, adapt, edit or create derivative works from content or materials on the Site. Use of the content and materials for any purpose not expressly permitted in these Terms of Use is prohibited. RLM relies upon a network of independent vendors who supply some of the goods advertised on the Site and, in some cases, items may be drop shipped from directly to the Customer. RLM is not liable for any infringement of copyrights, trademarks, trade dress or other proprietary or intellectual property rights arising out of content posted on or transmitted through the Site, or items advertised on the Site, by our vendors.


Article 7 (Products)
PRODUCTS WHICH ARE SOLD ON THE SITE ARE ALSO SOLD IN OUR ACTUAL SHOP THUS THESE PRODUCTS MAY BECOME SOLD OUT AT THE TIME OF SITE PURCHASE. The color or texture of the products displayed on the Site may differ slightly from that of the actual products due to factors such as lighting or camera settings when products were photographed. Measurements indicated on the Site are to be used as a guideline as the products may have slight differences. RLM makes best effort to provide accurate and up to date information, however RLM does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the description on each page of the Site such as (i) Information/Description; (ii) Color; (iii) Texture of Products, etc. Leather goods: due to the natural characteristic of leather, there is a variance in texture between products. Accordingly, there may be differences between a product displayed on the Site and an actual product. RLM does not Guarantee the delivery of a product completely the same of that displayed on the Site. Article 8 (Cancellation of Purchase Contract/Agreement) If any of the following events takes place, RLM may cancel the relevant purchase without giving notice or demand to the Customer: (a) if there is false information in an order; (b) in case of a breach of these Terms and Conditions or other Terms provide on the Site; (c) in case of the product ordered being our of stock; (d) if there is an error in the price or other information related to the product.


Article 9 (Accuracy of Content; Limitations on Quantity)
The information on this Site is believed to be complete and reliable; however, the information may contain typographical errors, pricing errors, and other errors or inaccuracies. Errors will be corrected as soon as practicable. RLM reserves the right to: (i) revoke any stated offer; (ii) correct any errors, inaccuracies or omission; and (iii) make changes to prices, content, promotion offers, product descriptions or specifications, or other information without obligation to issue any notice of such changes (including after an order has been submitted, acknowledged, shipped or received). RLM also reserves the right to limit quantities (including after an order has been submitted and/or acknowledged) and to revise, suspend or terminate a sale at any time without notice. The inclusion of any products on this Site at a particular time does not guarantee that the products will be available.


Article 10 (Export of Products)
With respect to products such as crocodile, ostrich or lizard leathers, RLM is NOT responsible for the any loss or damage incurred due to prohibition, restriction or other problems arising due to exporting products to countries outside of Singapore.
Taxes and Duties are to be solely borne by the Customer.
RLM will not be held responsible for the delays incurred due to Taxes and Duties or restriction of Products into Customer’s Country.


Article 11 (Risk of Loss)

Customer purchases from site are shipped to Customer via a third party carrier. As a result, risk of loss and title for such items pass to the Customer upon pick up from the carrier.


Article 12 (Disclaimer)
RLM is not an authorized dealer or associate of any of the designers, brands or manufacturers offered on our site. All trademarks, brand names, selected pictures & logos mentioned/used are for identification purposes only and are registered trademarks of their respective owners, who reserve the rights of ownership.
RLM is not affiliated with web sites or third parties that sell or advertise RLM products without a written agreement with us. RLM reserves the right to void all services, returns, and other policies for orders and RLM products that were purchased through unauthorized sellers. RLM is not responsible for any representations by unauthorized sellers.


Article 13 (Unavailability of Site; Termination; Fraud)
RLM may alter, suspend, or discontinue this Site in whole or in part, at any time and for any reason, without notice or cost. RLM reserves the right to cancel, delay, refuse to ship, or recall from the shipper any order if fraud is suspected at any time.


Article 14 (Copyright Infringement)
Should there be any materials on this Site infringing your copyright, you may request that they be removed. This request must bear a signature (or electronic equivalent) of the copyright holder or an authorized representative and must: (a) identify the allegedly infringing materials; (b) indicate where on the Site the infringing materials are located; (c) provide your name and contact information; (d) state that you have a good faith belief that the materials are infringing; (e) state that the information in your claim is accurate; and (f) indicate that "under penalty of perjury" you are the lawful copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner's behalf.
